SOC Manager

Role Overview:

The SOC Manager at ARGI ASD Security Operations Center oversees the overall operations of the SOC, ensuring effective monitoring, response, and management of security incidents. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and coordination with other security functions to maintain a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Security Operations Center.
  • Develop and implement SOC policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Manage and lead SOC personnel, including supervisors and analysts.
  • Ensure effective monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of SOC performance and security posture.
  • Coordinate with other security teams and departments to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
  • Monitor and analyze security trends and intelligence to identify potential threats.
  • Prepare and present reports on SOC activities and security incidents to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a SOC Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of security operations, incident response, and threat management.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Preferred Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified SOC Analyst (CSA).

SOC Supervisor

Role Overview:

The SOC Supervisor at ARGI ASD Security Operations Center supervises the day-to-day activities of the SOC, ensuring effective incident detection and response. This role involves overseeing SOC analysts, managing shift schedules, and ensuring compliance with SOC procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the daily activities of SOC analysts and personnel.
  • Ensure effective detection, analysis, and response to security incidents.
  • Manage shift schedules and ensure adequate coverage for 24/7 operations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to SOC analysts.
  • Ensure compliance with SOC policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of SOC processes and improvements.
  • Coordinate with other security teams to address incidents and vulnerabilities.
  • Prepare and submit reports on SOC activities and incidents.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a SOC Supervisor or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of security operations, incident response, and monitoring tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Preferred Certifications: Certified SOC Analyst (CSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

SOC Coordinator

Role Overview:

The SOC Coordinator at ARGI ASD Security Operations Center supports the coordination and execution of SOC activities. This role involves managing incident response processes, maintaining documentation, and assisting SOC personnel in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and support SOC activities, including incident detection and response.
  • Manage incident response processes and ensure timely resolution of security incidents.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, actions taken, and outcomes.
  • Assist SOC personnel in monitoring and analyzing security events and alerts.
  • Ensure compliance with SOC policies and procedures.
  • Participate in SOC training and development programs.
  • Communicate with other security teams and stakeholders to ensure coordinated response efforts.
  • Assist in the preparation of SOC reports and metrics.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a SOC Coordinator or in a similar role.
