K9 Master/Manager

Role Overview:

The K9 Master/Manager at ARGI ASD K9 EDD oversees the K9 operations, including the training, deployment, and management of K9 units. This role involves developing K9 programs, managing K9 handlers and trainers, and ensuring the health and performance of the K9 teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement K9 programs and protocols.
  • Oversee the training and deployment of K9 units.
  • Manage and supervise K9 handlers and trainers.
  • Ensure the health and well-being of the K9 units.
  • Conduct performance evaluations of K9 teams.
  • Coordinate with security and law enforcement agencies.
  • Maintain records of K9 training, deployments, and health.

Requirements:

K9 Veterinarian

The K9 Veterinarian at ARGI ASD K9 EDD is responsible for the medical care and health of the K9 units. This role involves conducting regular check-ups, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and providing preventive care to ensure the well-being of the K9 teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular medical check-ups and health assessments for K9 units.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and health conditions in K9 units.
  • Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and parasite control.
  • Maintain detailed medical records for each K9 unit.
  • Advise K9 handlers and trainers on proper care and handling of K9 units.
  • Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with K9 trainers and handlers to ensure the health and performance of K9 units.

Requirements:

K9 Veterinarian Technician
